Naungan offers pension-related legal assistance to individuals and families in Malaysia. Our services are designed to help clients understand their retirement entitlements, navigate claim processes, and organise documentation where multiple pension arrangements are involved. The three services currently offered are:
- Pension Position Overview (RM 580) โ A structured review of EPF and pension records, accompanied by a plain-language written summary and a consultation session.
- Withdrawal and Pension Claim Support (RM 1,260) โ Assistance with declined or delayed EPF or pension claims, including documentation preparation and communication with the relevant body.
- Household Pension Protection Plan (RM 1,930) โ A comprehensive engagement for families, covering entitlement review, claim support, survivor documentation, and a consolidated dossier.
Services are available to individuals ordinarily resident in Malaysia. Naungan reserves the right to assess suitability before accepting any engagement.
4. User Responsibilities
In using this Website and in engaging our services, you agree to:
- Provide accurate and complete information in any form submission or communication with us;
- Notify us promptly of any changes to information that may affect your case or engagement;
- Cooperate with reasonable requests for documentation or clarification;
- Use this Website only for lawful purposes and in a manner consistent with its intended use;
- Refrain from attempting to copy, scrape, or systematically extract content from this Website;
- Not submit false enquiries or misrepresent your identity or circumstances.

5. Intellectual Property
All content on this Website โ including text, design, layout, and documentation โ is the property of Naungan and is protected by Malaysian intellectual property law. You are granted a limited, non-exclusive licence to view and print content from this Website for your personal, non-commercial reference only.
You may not reproduce, republish, distribute, or commercially exploit any content from this Website without our prior written consent. Documents, written summaries, or dossiers prepared for you as part of a service engagement are for your personal use and may not be shared publicly or used for commercial purposes without our agreement.
6. Payment Terms
All fees are quoted in Malaysian Ringgit (RM) and are inclusive of applicable taxes unless otherwise stated. Payment methods and settlement terms will be confirmed in the service engagement letter issued prior to commencement.
As our services involve professional time and preparation, fees are generally payable at or before the commencement of the relevant engagement. If you need to cancel or reschedule before work has commenced, please contact us as early as possible and we will discuss the appropriate arrangement with you.
We do not offer refunds for work already completed. Where an engagement cannot proceed due to circumstances outside your control, we will discuss the matter with you individually and in good faith.
7. Service Delivery and Scope
The scope of each engagement will be set out in a written confirmation or letter exchanged prior to commencement. Any variation to the agreed scope will be discussed with you and confirmed in writing before additional work is undertaken.
Timelines for service delivery are estimates and may be affected by third-party response times (for example, the time taken by EPF, KWAP, or other bodies to respond to correspondence). We will keep you informed of progress throughout your engagement.
We operate on Monday to Friday, 9:00 am to 5:30 pm, and Saturday, 9:00 am to 1:00 pm. Responses to enquiries received outside these hours will be addressed on the next working day.
8. Disclaimers
The content on this Website is provided for general informational purposes only. It does not constitute legal advice and should not be relied upon as such. Each individual's pension situation is unique, and the information on this site may not apply to your specific circumstances.
While we prepare every engagement with care and diligence, outcomes in pension claim matters depend on decisions made by EPF, KWAP, or other third-party bodies over which we have no control. We cannot and do not make representations about the outcome of any specific claim or review.
This Website is provided on an "as available" basis. We make reasonable efforts to keep it accurate and accessible but do not accept liability for any interruptions, errors, or inaccuracies in the information presented.
9. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by Malaysian law, Naungan's liability in connection with the use of this Website or any service engagement shall not exceed the total fees paid by you for the specific service giving rise to the claim.
We shall not be liable for indirect, consequential, or incidental losses, including lost earnings or delays arising from third-party processing times, provided we have acted with reasonable care in the conduct of your engagement.
10. Confidentiality
Information you share with us in connection with an engagement is treated with care and discretion. We will not disclose your personal information to third parties except where required to carry out the service (for example, submitting correspondence to EPF on your behalf), where required by Malaysian law, or where you have given us your consent to do so.
For full details of how we collect, use, and protect your personal data, please refer to our Privacy Policy.
11. Termination of Engagement
Either party may bring an engagement to a close by giving written notice. If you choose to end an engagement before it is complete, you remain responsible for fees relating to work already carried out. We will prepare and share a summary of work completed to that point.
Naungan reserves the right to decline or discontinue an engagement where it becomes apparent that proceeding would be impractical, inappropriate, or inconsistent with our professional obligations.
12. Dispute Resolution and Governing Law
These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of Malaysia. If a concern arises from your use of this Website or from a service engagement, we encourage you to contact us in the first instance so that we may address the matter directly and in good faith.
If a dispute cannot be resolved through direct discussion, both parties agree to explore mediation through an appropriate Malaysian body before pursuing formal legal proceedings. The courts of Malaysia shall have non-exclusive jurisdiction over any unresolved dispute.
Relevant legislation governing our services includes the Legal Profession Act 1976, the Personal Data Protection Act 2010, and the Employees Provident Fund Act 1991.
13. General Provisions
- Entire Agreement: These Terms and Conditions, together with any written service engagement letter, constitute the complete agreement between you and Naungan for the matters they cover.
- Severability: If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall continue in full force.
- Waiver: Our failure to enforce any right under these Terms on a given occasion does not constitute a waiver of that right on future occasions.
- Assignment: You may not transfer your rights under any service engagement without our prior written agreement. We may transfer our obligations to a suitably qualified successor firm in the event of a business change, with notice provided to you.
- Notices: Formal notices to Naungan should be sent in writing to our address or email below. We will correspond with you at the contact details you provide.
14. Changes to These Terms
